You are welcome to bring food, medication and up to one blanket or mat, two toys, and as many food treats as you like. We ask that you do not bring large beds, beds with zippers or multiple pieces (such as a removable covers), rawhide or no-hide treats, or toys smaller than a tennis ball. We will provide dishes, cushy and padded bedding, and even additional toys if we feel your dog needs more entertainment.
You may bring food, medication, and any bedding, treats, and toys that your cat may like. We will provide dishes, additional bedding and toys, and cat litter.
We encourage you to bring your pet’s food if at all possible to avoid unnecessary transitions that could upset their digestion. We can accommodate refrigerated, frozen, raw, and homemade diets. If you do not wish to bring your food, at no additional cost we provide Kirkland Adult Dog Chicken & Rice dry kibble and Kirkland Cat Maintenance Chicken and Rice dry kibble. You can bring your pet’s food in any packaging, portioning, or containers that work for you. We will get specific feeding instructions from you when you arrive to check your pet in for their stay.
You are welcome to drop off any time during business hours and do not need to arrange a drop-off time on the day of arrival. For check-out, we have a model similar to most hotels and resorts with a noon check-out time. While our guests may stay beyond noon, charges for an additional day will be added to your bill unless you have made prior arrangements for your pet to receive grooming on the departure date. If they are being groomed, there is no charge for the day of departure regardless of the pick-up time set.
When you arrive to drop off your pet, we’ll go through a brief but detailed check-in with you to get all of the most current and precise care instructions for your pet. This will include feeding and medication instructions, confirmation of dates of stay, scheduling activities and grooming, and discussing anything else pertinent to your pet’s care and well-being that you would like us to know.
We advise booking as far in advance as possible for major holidays, summer weekends, and school breaks. For 2023 we require a three-night minimum for reservations from November 24 through 27 and December 16 through January 2.
A 3 night minimum and a $100 deposit will be required to reserve for any peak dates, including holidays.

Please visit our Required Vaccinations page for detailed information on the vaccinations we require. You or your veterinarian can send the records to our fax or email any time before your pet’s visit. Our fax number is (425)487-6454 and our email is info@cascadekennels.com.
*Note about Canine Influenza vaccine: We understand that some dogs may not yet have the canine influenza vaccination as some local vets do not administer it at annual appointments. We see pets who travel from various parts of the country and feel it is in our client’s best interest to recommend it at our facility, but can still accept pets without it.
